FX 2009: Wasabi Anime events, costume contest and more!

FX 2009 is almost upon us – and we’ve finalized our schedule of events for the weekend.  If you use Twitter, we highly recommend you add the Wasabi Anime Twitter feed to your follow list, since we will be tweeting all the major events throughout the convention weekend so you know what there is to do!

1:00 PM Anime Music Videos – Kind of like MTV when it was cool, but with Japanese cartoons and stuff.

11:00 AM Cosplay 101 – The cosplay team from Wasabi Anime has taken best of show from almost every major convention in Florida, even taking the top prize at Dragon*Con’s masquerade for the past two years.  Get some expert advice on your next costume project.

12:00 PM It’s Morphin Time! – A look at the Power Rangers franchise and the sentai shows that influenced it.

1:00 PM Rock Band 2 Tournament – Come play Rock Band on our eight foot screen, and win fabulous prizes!  (You must be present at the event’s start to sign up.)
