Miami fans looking to Cosplay… check this out!

We were researching an upcoming project in Miami when we came across an interesting event.  It seems that Sushi Samba – a great fusion sushi restaurant some of the Wasabi staff go to on Lincoln Road – has a Cosplay party night on Mondays in December.  Here’s the description from the website:

“It’s sexy, it’s trendy, it’s just a wee bit bizarre…it’s Cosplay. A contraction of the words ‘costume’ and ‘play’, Cosplay has reached iconic status in Japanese subculture where trendsetters dress as characters from manga, anime, tokusatsu, video games and movies. Hosted by Bonnie Lynn with music by Lalo C and Jazzy Eyewear. The party starts at midnight-be sure to dress to impress!”
