Dances

The legacy of Wasabi Anime’s dance events is the stuff of legend… or (at least) a good Internet story.  During an Orlando fan convention in the early 2000s, a local anime club backed out of providing the dance party the Saturday of the convention.  The Con Chair approached Wasabi Anime about stepping in to help.  Having never officially run a dance before, the team did the only thing they could think of.

They made a run to Hot Topic.

While there, they picked up a light up disco ball and rushed back to the convention.  Utilizing their combined resources, the team put together the first Otkaku Insomnia dance party – an event that is forever nicknamed the “rave in a box” thanks to the purchase from Hot Topic.

Since that day, Green Mustard Entertainment has created themed dances utilizing the skills of some amazing DJs including:
