The organizers of Florida Supercon have announced they are opening a new comic & gaming store in Davie, Florida… Florida Super Comics, Games, Anime + More!

Our GRAND OPENING HALLOWEEN WEEKEND event will take place Sat. Oct, 30 and Sun. Oct., 31. It’ll be a Mini-Supercon with at least 15 guest artists and voice actors all weekend long! There’ll be huge storewide sales! Stay tuned for more info soon!

On this day, nine years ago, we started Wasabi Anime. Yup… our crazy fan club turned task based organization is pushing ten years.

Thank you to all of our fans and supporters (old and new.) We need to plan something fun and zany for the decade celebration next year.

Last weekend was a first for Wasabi Anime. Since starting in 2001, we’ve hosted events at dozens of conventions but never at the same time. Last weekend, though, we made it happen.

Thanks to Lyn, Ryan, Tracy, Kaleb, Keith, Steven and Raul for holding down the fort in Florida and making our events at Anime Festival Orlando an amazing success. Orlandia’s Got Talent and DARE! The Transformers Panel Ultimate.

Meanwhile, in Indiana… Thanks to Jingoro, Joey Snackpants, Tom Croom, Mary & Pepper Mint, Geeky Pinups, Eric, Kim and Katie for making Wasabi Anime’s first appearance at Gen Con such an successful experience. Who knew gaming fan were so into anime… especially Sailor Moon?!

Finally a big THANK YOU to the staff at both Anime Festival Orlando and Gen Con for inviting us to their respective shows this year. We enjoyed the opportunity to bring a little part of the Wasabiverse to both of these amazing events.
