The first day of Gen Con was a blast!  We had a great group for DARE! The Transformers Panel Ultimate and the anime fans seemed to enjoy Grand Theft Anime.

A special THANK YOU to everyone who came out to Mystery Anime Theater 3000 and made the event standing room only. Tom Croom & Joey Snackpants sincerely appreciated all the thank yous and feedback from a Sailor Moon-tastic evening.

Now on to day two.

Saturday noon, Westin : Capitol II
This game show is a trivia based event where twenty players (ten on each team) compete for survival and prizes by answering questions and picking “GTA Cards” for random and often entertaining effects. Watch anime fans “die mafia style deaths” as they strive to prove their knowledge of anime, manga, and video games. In the end, only one player walks away with ALL the prizes!

Friday 9:30 pm, Westin : Capitol III
Soft butter. Awkward teenage crushes. Ewoks who read comic books. Political theory as it applies to Pokemon and their trainers. Spartan line dancing. This panel may or (most likely) not feature ANY of those things – but it DOES feature husband and wife Chris & Angie Duplis giving away free stuff and talking about NOTHING… and wolves.
